OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES- To provide the people of Tallaght with a free,
comprehensive and confidential information, advice and advocacy
service, which is intended to inform, educate and empower.
- To encourage and promote integration and co-operation
between relevant Statutory Agencies, Community and Voluntary Groups
and individuals in the dissemination of information
- To develop appropriate outreach services to meet
the needs of the people and also needs of the anticipated growth
in population of Tallaght in relation to information, advice and
advocacy services
- To promote the ?Citizens Information ?
concept generally and the Citizens Information service in particular
in local media
- To contribute to social policy development locally,
by working closely with other information service providers in
the area with other agencies, and nationally with Comhairle
- Engage in evaluation and monitoring of the service
in relation to the Development Plan and procedures for customer
feedback
- Ensure that adequate funding is available to
deliver the service

OUR MISSION We want to provide a full-time, integrated, impartial
and confidential information, advice and advocacy service for the
people of Tallaght, with paid staff working alongside volunteers,
operating from accessible and centrally located premises, in order
to meet the information needs of the region. |
