General information and advice
We provided information and advice to over 24,000 people in Tallaght in 2007.
Around 50% of our queries were in relation to Social Welfare rights and entitlements. But we also dealt with queries relating to Housing, Taxation, Separation and Divorce, Consumer rights, Support services, Health issues, family matters etc. The staff of Tallaght CIC work closely with local social workers, community welfare officers and other agencies to ensure effective follow up and integration of services. We also provide forms such as Passport, E111, Driving Licences/Test, Medical cards, Optical benefit, application for birth certificate and many more.

Free Legal Advice
Every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.00pm we offer a free legal advice service to the public in collaboration with FLAC. Solicitors will give legal advice free of charge and no appointment is necessary. This service meets a substantial need in the community and has high attendance levels. |

Travelling Community
Staff at Tallaght Citizens Information Centre have
built up good relationships with the travelling community in Tallaght
and as a result they would regularly use our service for information
and advice. We also provide a mailbox service for over 30 families
in the area and give talks to St Basils Centre, which is a training
centre for women from the travelling community several times a year.

For all your Refugee Information , such as family reunification, citizenship, asylum process etc call into our office on Wednesdays between 2.15-4.30 for specialised information service. No appointment necessary, first come, first served basis.also check out www.ris.ie

2. Tallaght Hospital Lobby every tuesday and thursday from 10am - 2 pm
3. Level One, The Square Shopping Centre monday - friday 10am-5pm (closed friday 4.30pm)
